Cancellation Policy

We respectfully ask that if you need to cancel your session, you please do so at least 24 hrs before your session time. Since we are a small boutique private practice and often have a wait list, our cancellation policy allows us to be equitable and fair to all our clients waiting on our list. Once you have booked an appointment, that appointment slot is considered yours and your card is charged the morning of your session.

Inclement weather & therapist cancellations

There may be times that your therapist may cancel a session due to inclement weather or a personal health issue. If this occurs, your therapist or someone on our admin team will communicate with you about the cancellation. You will not be charged and if payment has already occurred, you will either be refunded or have a balance on file.

Emergencies

Please note that we are not a 24/7 practice therefore your clinician will not always be available. Clinicians may answer messages about scheduling outside of their working hours but are not available for support outside of your session time. If you need immediate therapeutic support, the Montgomery County Crisis Center is open 24/7 and is located at 1301 Piccard Dr Rockville, MD 20850; (240) 777-4000. The Crisis Text Line is also available- text HOME to 741741 to connect with a crisis counselor. If you have an immediate emergency, please go to your nearest emergency room.
