Andrea Zawatsky was named "Top Therapist" by Washington Family Magazine in addition to having her work in mental health be featured on various news channels. In addition to being a licensed Psychotherapist, Andrea is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. Andrea specializes in helping teens, adults, and couples overcome anxiety and work through trauma. This includes anxiety in people's personal as well as professional lives, around previous trauma, with interpersonal relationships, and anxiety co-occurring with ADHD. She works with clients who are ready to change their anxious thinking, low self-esteem, and intrusive thoughts. Andrea also does couples therapy and is trained in the Gottman Method. She is neuro-divergent and LGBTQIA+ friendly and helps people in their journey to find their authentic self.

Andrea's training is in CBT and CPT, evidence-based practices known to successfully treat anxiety, ADHD, and depression. Andrea is also trained in EMDR, an evidence based treatment for trauma. Andrea uses therapy sessions to dive deeper and help clients understand any self defeating patterns and where they may come from. Through years of clinical work and her studies at Georgetown University, she has dedicated her career to helping those who are ready for change. She works with clients to develop strategies to create a more balanced life and reclaim a sense of control and satisfaction in their life and relationships. Andrea offers a safe, non judgmental space for clients to process their thoughts, feelings, & work towards their goals. Both in person and virtual options are offered.
