COUPLES THERAPY

Couples Therapy is a time where couples come to work on communication, their emotional connection, specific issues in their partnership, and/or co-parenting. The goal of couples therapy is to strengthen the relationship or if couples decide to not stay together, the work becomes strengthening their ability to co-parent. Couples of all relationship types are welcome in couples therapy and our therapists have experience working with couples outside of just traditional marriages.

The Gottman Method, and Emotionally Focused Therapy are used in couples therapy.

Emotionally Focused Therapy is a form of therapy that explores the emotional connection and dynamics between a couple. EFT aims to strengthen the connection between a couple and create a more secure attachment between both people.
